According to the information, Jeffrey Hash was not on duty at the time of Sunday’s incident and was traveling in the car with his wife and daughter. At the time, the 37-year-old unarmed black walker was crossing the street near his parents’ house. Moments later, Hash shot Walker, killing him instantly. What actually happened during that time is discussed.
In a video online, the police officer is seen telling his colleagues that Walker jumped in the middle of the road and tried to damage the car. In exchange, he had to take up arms to protect his wife and daughter. But eyewitness Elizabeth Ricks said otherwise. The police officer has been sent on leave for the time being. The black community demands that the police officer be punished.
