On Monday, the South India Film Chamber of Commerce, which strongly supports its member, actor and producer Suriya, asked PMK leader and former Union minister Anbumani Ramadoss to refrain from criticizing the actor for his movie ‘Jai Bhim’.

In a letter to Ramadoss, the president of the South India Film Chamber of Commerce, Katragadda Prasad, noted that Suriya had agreed to her request to remove a symbol from the Tamil film ‘Jai Bhim’ which was recently released in a OTT platform.

“Respecting their feelings, our member Suriya immediately removed that symbol from the film,” said Prasad.

“The South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce is pained that their party cadres continue to criticize Suriya despite the fact that neither the film’s hero nor the production company have anything to do with the decision to use that symbol in the movie, “said the president. of the House said.

Pointing out that Suriya, who had no political, caste or religious affiliation, was a socially responsible philanthropist and was a beacon of hope in the field of education, especially for students on the fringes of society, Prasad urged Ramadoss to refrain from criticizing the actor.
