History highlights

  • Akhilesh Yadav tweeted the video
  • He said: well-sewn hospitality.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath were in Sultanpur on Tuesday. PM Modi and CM Yogi inaugurated Purvanchal Expressway during a program hosted in Sultanpur, UP. Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav scoffed by tweeting a video related to the opening program of the Purvanchal Highway.

Akhilesh Yadav tweeted a video showing Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath walking on foot and the Prime Minister’s car can also be clearly seen out front. Samajwadi Party Chairman Akhilesh Yadav mocked by tweeting a video of CM Yogi walking behind Prime Minister Modi’s car. Samajwadi Party Chairman Akhilesh while tweeting the video wrote in a sarcastic tone that you put a nice touch on our hospitality.

Akhilesh Yadav did not stop at this alone. Mocking CM Yogi, he further wrote that you have made us ‘walk’ in front of the public. We go through these roads with great helplessness. In the video tweeted by Akhilesh Yadav, it is clearly visible that PM’s car is ahead and behind him is UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

It is worth mentioning that Akhilesh Yadav and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are waging a war of declarations regarding the Purvanchal Expressway credit. Akhilesh Yadav had described the Purvanchal Highway as a gift from the Samajwadi government. Rejecting Akhilesh’s claim, CM Yogi Adityanath had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for it, that he would also inaugurate it.
