- Wasim Rizvi prepared the will
- Said my body should be given to Hindu friends
Waseem Rizvi, former chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board, has announced that he must be cremated after his death. For this he has also prepared a will. He posted a video and said that after death his body should be handed over to Hindu friends and his last rites should be performed. He said that Mahant Narasimha Nand Saraswati of the Dasna temple should light his pyre. Rizvi also alleged that Muslims are plotting to kill and behead him.
Wasim Rizvi said in his video: ‘Conspiracies to kill me and decapitate my neck are being hatched in India and outside India. Rewards are awarded to me. My crime is so much that I challenged 26 verses in the Supreme Court, which spread hatred towards humanity. Now the Muslims want to kill me and have declared that they will not give me a place in any cemetery.
He further said: ‘Peace should remain after my death, so I have written a will that the body that is my Hindu friend should be delivered to them in Lucknow and I should be cremated after making a funeral pyre.’ And our Yeti Narasimha Nanda Saraswati ji will give fire on the pyre, I have authorized him.
In fact, Wasim Rizvi had filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the removal of 26 verses from the Qur’an. However, this petition was dismissed by the Supreme Court. Since then, Rizvi has been targeted by Muslim organizations and communities. Muslim organizations have also been demanding his arrest. Not only this, Muslim organizations also say that Rizvi has nothing to do with Islam and the Shiite community. Muslim organizations describe Rizvi as an agent of extremist and anti-Muslim organizations.
