Monday of the month of Kartik and Devotthani Ekadashi 2021 became a special day for Kashi, the city of Shiva. At Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham, the idol of Mother Annapurna was consecrated for life. This idol, first stolen from Kashi and brought to Canada 108 years ago, became part of the Annapurna court. The chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, restored the idol at Shrikashi Vishwanath Darbar temple. For this, the Chief Minister had come to Varanasi on Sunday evening.

The idol was cremated on Monday morning in his presence. Its legislation was initiated at 6 am by the 11 Archak Dal members of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple under the direction of Shrikashi Vidvat Parishad. The chief minister himself, Yogi Adityanath, became the host of the main ritual at 9:30 a.m. M. The ancient idol of Mother Annapurna, who came to Kashi from Canada, was entered into the special silver throne of Baba Vishwanath at Vishwanath Dham.

CM Yogi slung the silver palanquin of Mother Annapurna over his shoulder and entered the temple premises. After the consecration, Mahabhog was offered and Maha Aarti was performed. After the installation of the idol, the chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, attended Baba’s court. After performing Jalabhishek and Dugdhabhishek, he sought Baba’s blessings. With the intention of public welfare, after worshiping Baba, he left there.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in his speech that the statue of Mother Annapurna has once again been established in Kashi after 108 years. This was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Varanasi MP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. CM Yogi thanked Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the Kashi people.

The Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, was present as the main guest to install the Mata Annapurna statue at Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Prior to this, the CEO had ordered the service. According to the information, this idol of Mata Annapurna has been established with the method of Rajopachar.

Apart from many leaders, the presence of Kashi saints and mahants also remained in the premises during worship and rituals. During the worship and rituals, the chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, interacted with the saints and asked about their well-being.

In the rituals that began after Mangala Aarti at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the idol of Mata Annapurna was installed in its place after completing the worship of Ganesh-Ambika, as well as establishing the Kalash, etc. The arrival of Mother Annapurna in the city of Devadhidev Mahadev and the establishment of Mother Annapurna are wonderful in themselves.
