A 44-year-old man was stabbed to death by some youths in the Ranhola area on the outskirts of Delhi due to a fight over a simple bicycle touch. In this dispute, some relatives of the deceased who defended them were also injured. While taking action, the police arrested about 7 defendants, including a minor and a woman, based on CCTV footage. The police are currently investigating the matter.
It is said that this dispute happened when the bicycle was touched, in which a person lost his life. Some other people were also injured in this bloodbath, who were trying to stop this fight. Amit Srivastava, the deceased’s nephew, said his maternal uncle’s name was Manoj and that he used to do private work and lived near Mangal Bazar with his family. At the same time, his sister lives in the Defense Enclave area and his brother-in-law Sanjeev works in the Indian army.
Dead man in minor dispute
Last Saturday, the brother-in-law of the deceased, Sanjeev, had returned home. He had gone to the market to buy some goods. Where he got into a fight with a young man named Prince after he touched the bike in a minor way near the house. From where the police were also called and at that time the matter was pacified after being understood by both parties. After a while, Prince and his mother came to his house along with other people and started fighting with Sanjeev. In such a situation, Amit and his uncle Manoj and others also arrived at the scene.
Police were called during the fight.
During the middle of the fight, the attackers attacked him and Sanjeev with a knife and wounded them, after which the victim’s family took the seriously injured Manoj to Mata Chanan Devi Hospital. Following the investigation, Manoj was pronounced dead by doctors.
Seven defendants arrested for murder
At the same time, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police arrived at the scene. The victim’s family presented a murder and attempted murder case in the complaint against the defendant. The surrounding CCTV footage was examined and the defendants were arrested. There is also a woman among the detained defendants. In addition to the minor, the police identified the detained defendant as Ajay alias Kanpuria (37), his wife Heena (32), Aman Kumar (25), Sunny Kumar (21), Ramesh alias Chhotu (35), 26 years Amit and Vikas Gautam . Police are continuing to investigate after questioning the accused.
