- The main sources of the Trinamool Congress confirmed
The ruling Trinamool Congress of West Bengal had announced that it would fight hard in the Goa Assembly elections. Former Goa Chief Minister and Congressional veteran, Luizenho Faleiro, had resigned from the Legislative Assembly membership and joined the TMC. Now there is news that TMC is preparing to send Luizenho Fellero to Rajya Sabha.
A leading TMC source has confirmed that the party will send Luizenho Felero to the Rajya Sabha. An important TMC source also said that the party will also include Luizenho Felero in the assembly elections. If TMC sources are to be believed, Luizenho Faleiro will also be sent to the Rajya Sabha and will also be the party’s candidate in the assembly elections.
On the other hand, the head of TMC, Mamata Banerjee, nominated Mahua Moitra as manager of Goa. It is worth noting that Luizenho Fellero, who was the Chief Minister of Goa, was counted among the veteran leaders of the Congress. Luizenho Felero resigned from the Assembly membership in September.
