Last year the fair was not organized due to Kovid-19, but this time this fair is organized keeping in mind the rules of Corona. Common people will be able to enter this fair from November 19. Tickets for this will also begin to be obtained from the same November 19.

The Trade Promotion Organization of India organizes this fair every year. Colonel Pushp Kumar, OSD of the Administration Department of this organization, said in a special conversation with the correspondent of Aaj Tak that this time this fair is being organized on a large scale. Every year this fair was organized in 25 thousand square feet, but this time this fair is organized in 3 times, that is, 70 thousand square feet.
20 states and three national territories of India participate in this fair. Apart from this, more than 3000 merchants are setting up booths at the fair this time. The definition of different culture will be seen at this fair. Colonel Purush Kumar said that this time the theme of the fair has remained one of self-reliance. Apart from this, the feast of the nectar of freedom will also be seen at the fair. This time many countries are participating in the fair, but every year China participates in this fair. Pragati Maidan does not participate in this fair. Apart from this, Afghanistan is also participating in the fair this time.
strict compliance with covid rules
During the fair, the Kovid protocol will be strictly followed. The thermal control of the people will be carried out at the entrance door itself. It is necessary to follow the rules of the mask and social distancing. That is why the distance between the posts has been increased from 9 feet to 12 feet. The width of the walking lane for spectators has been increased from 4 feet to 5 feet. A large number of security personnel will be present to ensure that the rules are followed.
On this occasion, tickets for the fair will also be available at 65 metro stations. Along with this, online ticketing has also been arranged. This step has been taken to maintain social distancing. Pushp Kumar said that in addition to two parking places at Gate No. 4 and 5 towards Bhairon Marg, there will be parking facilities at the National Stadium and the IP Bus Depot for those who come to the fair in their vehicles. From there, there will be a free shuttle service to Pragati Maidan.
