Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan appeared before the Office of Narcotics Control’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Friday night to be questioned on an alleged drug case. Reportedly, he was interrogated until midnight.

This appears to be Aryan’s first visit to the office after obtaining bail on October 30. Previously, he visited NCB’s South Mumbai office at Ballard Estate to mark his weekly attendance as directed by the Bombay High Court.

According to News 18 reports, Aryan Khan appeared before the SIT headed by NCB Deputy Director General Sanjay Kumar Singh in neighboring Navi Mumbai. It was on the grill from early afternoon until almost midnight. During interrogation, Shah Rukh Khan’s son was questioned about the circumstances in which he boarded the cruise, his links with drug suppliers and his peer group, and his drug-related habits and preferences.

Not only that, Aryan was also asked about the circumstances in which the previous investigation team led by embattled NCB zone chief Sameer Wankhede investigated him. They wanted to know how the Starkid was treated in custody and if his family was forced to pay a bribe. The research team also wanted to know his plans and how he found out about the cruise, including his travel route.

Aryan Khan was also asked if he had planned to use drugs on board the ship or if the drugs were provided on board. The report also cited sources who said he was given the option to claim all drug-related charges, as his attorneys did in court while requesting his bail. The alleged WhatsApp chats, which were part of an international drug trafficking network and also a ‘larger conspiracy’, also included her in the list of questions posed by the special investigative team.

Meanwhile, NCB Deputy Director General Gyaneshwar Singh said: “Our investigation is ongoing and we are giving it the highest priority … we want to conclude it as soon as possible. We have yet to include some key people in the investigation. “
