In his upcoming film ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of a policeman whose appearance and style are unique. Hearing this character, he immediately remembered Mishra, a police inspector from Patna. Pankaj says: ‘As soon as I heard this character, the first face that came to mind was Mishra ji. He has been quite a cartographer-type police inspector. He kept his hair fully up and did not wear a cap on his head until a superior officer appeared in front. Something similar is also my character in the movie ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’.

Did Pankaj Tripathi ever have anything to do with police mapping in your life?

On this issue, at first Pankaj Tripathi said that he did not have any special memories, but when the face-to-face conversation with the police broke out, he was stunned. They started saying, ‘This happened during the days of student politics in Patna and this first face-to-face cannot be forgotten. What happened was that all the students were gathered in one place and shouting slogans until the police arrived. The police must have thought that as soon as they arrived, all the students would be silent. But, at the time I was on stage and watching the police, I got more excited and started giving speeches with double enthusiasm. I still remember the sticks the police used that day. If the police kill, they leave no trace. This was also understood the same day.
