Para wrestler Virendra Singh, who received the Padma Shri award, sat in a dharna in protest against the rule of Manohar Lal Khattar of Haryana. Virendra Singh was honored with the Padma Shri by President Ram Nath Kovind on the same day. But after this, he sat in a dharna on the outskirts of Haryana Bhawan located in New Delhi and began to oppose the state government.

Virendra Singh tweeted and wrote that Honorable Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar ji, I am sitting on the path of your Delhi Haryana Bhawan residence and I will not move from here. Unless you give us deaf players the same rights as for players, when the Center gives us the same rights, why not you?

In fact, Virendra Singh has received the Padma Shri award for his contribution as a para-wrestler. But they complain that the state government does not grant them the same rights, while the central government honors them.

When Virendra Singh was honored, Haryana’s Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar congratulated him, in response to this congratulatory tweet, Virendra Singh mocked the state government.
