It has been decided to send five more CRPF companies here to deal with the incidents of killing of targets in Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, the central government has taken a tough stance on the rapid increase in terrorist incidents.

On Monday, terrorists shot dead a vendor at a Kashmiri Pandit store in the Bohri Kadal area of Old Srinagar. After this incident, the tension has reached its peak here. One day before this incident, terrorists killed a policeman in the Batmaloo area of Srinagar.
Regarding this, CRPF said that in view of the recent killings of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir, five additional companies of the force are being dispatched here. They will be deployed in a week. The CRPF also reported that a total of 112 terrorists have been killed and 135 have been arrested so far this year in the Union Territory.
