On the morning before Kharna Prasad, a large crowd of people gathered on the ghats to bathe in the Ganges. The devotees bathed in the Ganges and sang the songs of Chhathi Maiya. Devotees also took to Gangajal to make offerings. Then in the evening with the rituals, they made offerings of rice, brown sugar and milk, mixed kheer and wheat bread and accepted it themselves and fed each other in the Kharna tradition.

In the Ganges Ghats, on the terraces of the house and elsewhere, the devotees wash the wheat for offerings. From this, the prasad of Thekua will be prepared for Arghya. With the conclusion of Kharna on Tuesday for the Mahaparv Chhath, 36 hours of rigorous Nirjala fast began. After Kharna, devotees distribute Prasad among the people until late at night.

The devotees carried prasad from door to door for the devotees. On November 10, the fast will offer Arghya to the rising sun at Chhath Ghats. On the morning of November 11, after sunrise, the devotees will bow before Lord Bhaskar and offer Arghya as soon as the redness comes.
