- Threat to kill PM Modi and CM Yogi
- Threatened thief on social media
A Twitter user on Sunday threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath with a bomb. Following this, UP Police have started investigating the matter. DCP (Crime) Pramod Kumar Tiwari said: “The matter came to light when we got information about this threat from UP 112 (police helpline). Someone played a joke on Twitter.”
Pramod Kumar Tewari said: “These accounts are often fraudulent and use false names. They are not disclosed until an investigation is completed and an authentic name is found. It may disappear.” He said that information has been sought on Twitter in this regard.
It should be noted that in June this year, a person called PM Modi and threatened to kill him. He was immediately arrested from Delhi. The police had told him that ‘The defendant had called and said: I have to kill Modi’.
Police learned that the defendant was released from jail on bail. There is already a case registered against him at the police station. The defendant had told him on initial questioning that he had to go to jail, so he deliberately called the police.
