It is true that cinema is the most powerful medium of mass entertainment, but the transitional period of the crown also taught that there is only one more powerful medium of reach than cinema and that is OTT. The Musahar caste still lives in many areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Catching rats and eating them is your duty. The movie ‘Jai Bhim’ tells the story of people from one of those castes who live in South India. This movie may seem like an agenda movie by name, but if the agenda is to bring the truth to the world, all those agendas should be welcomed. A lawyer influenced by leftist ideology takes up the case of police harassment of tribes of the Irular caste and puts an end to it through a petition for habeas corpus. The movie ‘Jai Bheem’ is based on the famous case of Judge Chandra, Madras High Court judge, whom he fought during his defense days. However, it was actually a case of persecution from the people of the Kurwa tribe.
