Rashid completed his 400 wickets in match 289. He has also become the fourth bowler in the world to do so. Only three bowlers in the world have been able to touch the 400 wicket mark. Among them, Caribbean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo did this first in match 364. This was followed by South African spinner Imran Tahir and then Caribbean spinner Sunil Narine.
Previously, Rashid had also made a great record in the match against Pakistan. He became the fastest bowler to win 100 wickets in T20 Internationals. He completed his 100 wickets in just 53rd game.
Rashid also holds the record for taking the most T20 windows in a calendar year. Took 96 lots in one year in 2018.
Rashid plays in the world famous T20 league and is an expert in tricking rival batsmen with his effects.
West Indies’ Dwayne Bravo has the most wickets in T20 with 553 wickets. It is followed by Sunil Narine with 425 windows and Imran Tahir with 420 windows at number three. No other bowler has taken 300 wickets in this format since Rashid’s debut.
