IRCTC: The first train will depart today to visit the pilgrimage sites related to the life of Lord Ram


The IRCTC has prepared a Ramayana Yatra plan to visit pilgrimage sites related to the life of Lord Rama. Below this, the first train will leave New Delhi on Sunday. According to the IRCTC, between November and January, trains from Madurai, Pune, Sri Ganganagar and Ahmedabad will depart on November 16, 25, 27, 2021 and January 20, 2022 respectively.

To meet the pilgrimage needs of South India, the IRCTC will run economy class trains from Madurai with sleeper class coaches. The train will travel from Madurai to Hampi, Nashik, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj and Varanasi via Dindigul, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Central Chennai, Renigunta and Cuddapah.

This trip will be 12 nights and 13 days. At the same time, a 16-night, 17-day package will be available on the train departing from Sri Ganganagar on November 25. After leaving Sri Ganganagar, the train will pass through Barnala, Patiala, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Gurugram, Rewari, Alwar, Jaipur, Agra Fort, Etawah and Kanpur via Ayodhya, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, Rameswaram, and Kancheepuram.
