  • Govardhan Puja at the crossroads in protest against open prayer

Govardhan Puja was held on Friday at Gurugram’s Sector-12 CRPF Chowk, adjacent to Delhi, where the previous Namaz was held every Friday. Hindu organizations had already announced that the worship would take place at this meal. The head of AIMIM, Asaduddin Owaisi, said that this is direct hatred towards Muslims.

The administration had become fully alert after the announcement of Govardhan Puja by the Hindu organization and even before Friday, the administration had also held a meeting with both parties. The administration tried to avoid any conflict situation on Friday, after which it was decided not to offer Namaz here. BJP leader Kapil Mishra also reached this bid.

Actually, this whole thing is not only related to this square of Sector 12, but it is about the open Namaz taking place in 37 places in Gurugram. At this time in Gurugram, Namaz was offered in the open air in 37 places, which all Hindu organizations opposed for 3 months.

On this issue, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the protest against Friday prayers in Gurgaon (Gurugram) is a perfect example of how radical these “protesters” have become. This is an absolute hatred towards Muslims. How does it hurt someone to practice my faith or offer the Juma prayer once a week for 15 to 20 minutes?

I just accepted Ramadan: VHP

It was said on behalf of the Muslim parties that after talks between them, it was decided that they can offer Friday prayers in 37 places. But according to Surendra Jain of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), this was only once in the month of Ramzan and not forever.

According to Surendra Jain, a meeting was held two days ago and then it was decided that currently 20 out of 37 places will have open namaz and this too will be gradually shrinking. Then in a month the open namaz on Gurugram will come to a complete stop. BJP leader Kapil Mishra also arrived at the scene. Kapil said that if people of all faiths block the way for worship, then how will the job get done?

He said that Sector-12, where all the leaders gathered and worshiped Govardhan, is one of the 8 places where permission has not been granted for Namaz in view of the law and order situation. Now, in all this matter it is necessary to see what conclusion the administration and both parties reach to avoid the confrontational situation.
