The firecracker sale took place in the Loni area of Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi. Apart from this, firecrackers were also sold on a large scale in areas like Gautam Budh Nagar, Hapur, Shamli, Faridabad Gurgaon of Bulandshahr Haryana.
According to the Delhi Police, they have done everything possible to prevent the sale and purchase of banned firecrackers in any way. This was the reason firecrackers were recovered on a large scale in Delhi and more than two dozen people were also arrested.
Speaking of the northern district of Delhi, the police recovered about 10 quintals of firecrackers. Here, 5 defendants were arrested. 100 kg of firecrackers have been recovered from outside Delhi, 60 kg from the southeast, 10 kg from east Delhi, 32 kg from the northeast, 40 kg from Rohini, 151 kg from the northwest and 506 kg from the western district. Let us tell you that even more firecrackers were secretly shipped to market, most of which have come to the fore in the form of contamination.
According to the Delhi Police, the Delhi Police received 1,143 calls to light firecrackers. In this, the police registered 210 cases of firecrackers. From October 28 until the night of Diwali, the police have seized 19,02 firecrackers.
