Mini India, a unit of luxury automaker BMW, will launch its first fully electric Mini Cooper SE car in the Indian market very soon. The company recently started its reservation and all of its units were booked in just 2 hours.

Travel 270 km on a single charge

In the Mini Cooper SE, the company has given away a 32.6 kWh battery pack. This gives the car a maximum power of 18 hp and a maximum torque of 270 Nm. Based on the world standard WLTP cycle, the Mini Cooper SE can travel up to 270 km on a full charge.

Grab 100 speed in 7.3 seconds

The Mini Cooper SE truck is excellent too. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.3 seconds. Its maximum speed is up to 150 km / h.

80% charge in 35 minutes

With this car, the company delivers 11kW and 50kW chargers. They charge the car battery from 0 to 80 percent in 2.5 hours and 35 minutes, respectively.

3 doors on Mini Cooper SE

Apart from this, there is a 3 door opener on this car. That is, another door with a driver’s seat and a passenger seat has a rear trunk. The car has 17-inch alloy wheels. The LED daytime running lights with headlights and the hexagon grille also make it look great. The car will have an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen.

30 complete units reserved

The company had kept a price of Rs 1 lakh for the reserve of the Mini Cooper SE. The company had opened this reservation for only 30 units of the car, which was fully booked in just 2 hours. Pricing for this car has yet to be revealed.
