MTV VMAs 2021: BTS Wins Group of the Year Award, Best K-Pop; Justin Bieber named Artist of the Year

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs 2021) took place last night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and was in fact a celebration of music, dance and performance. While the show was hosted by Doja Cat, it saw some incredible performances from artists like Justin Bieber, Chloe Bailey, Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow, Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker, Foo Fighters, Doj, Olivia Rodrigo, and many, many more.

The night saw various artists taking home multiple awards. The Korean boy band took home a total of 3 awards, while Yummy singer Justin Bieber won 2. Olivia Rodrigo, along with Best New Artist, took home another pair of trophies. Read on to find out who won what next.

Among the biggest winners at the 2021 MTV VMAs was Lil Nas X, who took home multiple awards, including Video of the Year, Best Directing and Best Visual Effects trophy for his single Montero (Call Me by Your Name). Olivia Rodrigo also became known as one of the top winners by taking several victories, including Best New Artist, Song of the Year, and Best Driver’s License Performance of the Year.

Justin Bieber won Artist of the Year and Best Pop for his song Peaches at the 2021 MTV VMAs. Billie Eilish received the Video for Good award for his song Your Power and BTS took home the Group of the Year trophy, Song of the Summer. and Best K-Pop. Travis Scott won the Best Hip-Hop by Franchise category.
