The death of Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla has left everyone numb. The actor recently passed away after suffering a major cardiac arrest. Almost everyone close to Sidharth has been affected in one way or another, yet former Bigg Boss contestant Jasleen Matharu was so affected that she is now hospitalized.
Sidharth Shukla was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. Although doctors claim he died of a heart attack, they will give their final verdict only after the final post-mortem report.
Sharing a video from her hospital bed, Jasleen Matharu said: “The day Sidharth died, I visited his home. He was totally shocked, first by hearing the news and then by seeing the atmosphere in his house. After meeting Shehnaaz and her aunt, when I got home, I saw the messages I had received that said: ‘Tum bhi mar jao’. This is the first time in my life that it has affected me so much. I thought to myself: how unpredictable life is, everything feels so strange. I don’t know what happened, but yesterday I had a temperature (103 degrees) and I had to be hospitalized. Take care of yourself and pray that I too will recover soon. “
Previously speaking with Pinkvilla, Jasleen had shared her experience of meeting Shehnaaz and Sidharth’s mother and sisters, she said: “No one in the family can say or express anything. His mother, I must say, is a superwoman, a strong, very strong lady who has also remained calm in this emotional turmoil. He is too numb to express anything at the moment. Her sisters can’t express anything either. There were some things his mother told me that made me cry even more. I can’t really say everything she told me, but all I can say is that it broke my heart. “
While talking about Shehnaaz, he added: “I spoke with Shehnaaz but she is not in a good condition. She was sitting in a place, blank, with nothing to say, lost in her world. I walked over to her, tried to speak, but all she asked me was to sit next to her. I saw how upset she was and asked her to sleep. Exhausted, she fell asleep. “
Sidharth Shukla’s final rites were held at the Oshiwara crematorium on Friday, where several celebrities attended his funeral to pay their last respects. Today the family of the late actor organized a prayer meeting at 5 in the afternoon. The family has also invited their fans to join in virtually via a zoom link.
The prayer meeting poster was shared by actor Karanvir Bohra saying, “Sidharth Shukla’s soul will be blessed by Sister Shivani and Brahma Kumaris, followed by a meditation session conducted by BK Yogini Didi.”
