Krushna Abhishek is one of the popular television personalities who is well known for his appearance on comedy shows such as Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, and Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza. The comedian once got into trouble for racist comments against Tannishtha Chatterjee.

In 2016, Tannishtha along with Radhika Apte came to Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza to promote their movie Parched. The show was hosted by Krushna, Mona Singh, Nia Sharma, Bharti Singh, and many others. The comedy show worked in the celebrity barbecue format.

Tannishtha Chatterjee took to Facebook and wrote down her entire ordeal. He also mentioned that he couldn’t take offensive jokes after a certain point. He also spoke to the Mumbai Mirror about his acceptance of being on the show. She said: “I was led to believe it was going to be a ‘Roast’ (on Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza). In the West, they applaud your achievements by making fun of them and I was excited to be ‘roasted’ on a comedy show on a leading national channel. Racism spreads through those programs. “
