Ram Gopal Varma shares images of his FIRST LOVE, the woman who inspired Rangeela and the name of his acclaimed film Satya.



Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is known for speaking his mind, be it about his personal life or about the film fraternity. He often uses social media to express his thoughts on anything. But this time around, RGV has opened his heart to his social media fans by sharing the story of his one-sided love from his college days. Sharing some bikini photos of his loving first lady, RGV introduced her as Satya, whose university turned out to be in the same compound while he was studying at Siddhardha University of Engineering, Vijayawada. “The woman in the blue swimsuit is SATYA. She was my first love in my college days at Siddhardha Vijayawada University of Engineering. @Polavarapusatya is currently in the US as a maternal-fetal medicine specialist and OB-GYN.” RGV tweeted. The filmmaker then revealed that the story for his hit movie Rangeela was actually inspired by his own love life. “Those days the medical school and the engineering school were in the same complex for some logistical reasons and that is where my love happened on one side with @PolavarapuSatya. I felt that she did not care about me for another rich and handsome boy and this is how I wrote the Rangeela story, ”he tweeted. Not only Rangeela but RGV revealed that the name of the star hit Satya and the name of Sridevi’s character in Kshana Kshanam were derived from his first lady love. “My historical film SATYA and Sridevi’s name in KSHANA KSHANAM are named after @PolavarapuSatya. By the way, these photos are today’s present photos that you sent me from Miami Beach,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, RGV recently launched its OTT platform, Spark OTT. He marked his entry into the digital space with his film D Company, which is based on Dawood Ibrahim and shows the events of his life from 1980 to 1982.
