It’s the 18th at Bigg Boss OTT’s house, and fans have already seen the eviction of three contestants: Urfi Javed, Ridhima Pandit, and Karan Nath. During an exclusive conversation with Karan after her departure, we asked her about one of the most talked about topics in the house: mental health. This theme even caused host Karan Johar to speak out and lash out at the contestants for misusing it during the Sunday Ka Vaar episode.
Those who follow the show will know that Zeeshan Khan recently told Akshara Singh that he should visit the medical ward if he has an anxiety attack. At the same time, Pratik Sehajpal asked him if he should bring medicine. To clarify your thoughts on mental health and if housemates are misusing the term, below is everything Nath said.
During an exclusive conversation with Koimoi, while talking about mental health and how it is used in the Bigg Boss OTT house, Karan Nath said: “I think people who suffer mentally don’t talk about it. People who talk about it obviously take advantage of it by talking about it. (They) just try to portray that they are suffering mentally and that’s why they do these things and play. “
The evicted Bigg Boss OTT contestant further said that some housemates are ‘faking’ mental health issues. Karan Nath said: “Someone who is mentally affected, why would that person keep telling others ‘I am suffering from mental health and this and that’? Mentally ill people are completely in their own zone in their own world. They don’t keep talking about it, they don’t keep talking about suffering from mental health. So I think it’s like a card that they use, just trying to put it as a victim card or what card I don’t know. But they just fake it. “
Speaking about Zeeshan Khan who recently suffered an anxiety attack on Bigg Boss OTT, Karan Nath said, “Because I’m not watching the show, I don’t really know what’s going on.” He went on to say, “I haven’t seen it so I can’t comment. But the anxiety attack is something I’ve been through in my life. I have gone through that phase in which I was visiting my doctor and it is something that is not very well ”.
Speaking of having anxiety attacks himself, Karan added: “In my case, my heart used to beat like crazy; that; It used to beat really fast. I used to feel like my heart would just pop out. It usually happens when you are overthinking and when you are laying back and relaxing. I faced that, but not anymore, I think I’m happy today, in a happy zone. We all go through ups and downs in life, so that’s okay. But I don’t know about Zeeshan, I don’t know what happened to him because I haven’t seen the episode so I can’t (comment). “
