Akshay Kumar’s spy thriller is expected to raise THIS on its first day

Bell Bottom, starring Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi, is now in theaters, well, almost everywhere. And the reviews are incredible. Fans, Bollywood celebrities, and critics have been raving about the entire cast and crew of Ranjit M. Tewari’s spy thriller. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic scenario, occupancy and theater screenings are limited. However, the filmmakers and Akshay Kumar took the risk of releasing the film in theaters. Now, according to the morning occupancy report, the 2D version of Bell Bottom operated at around 19% capacity, while the 3D version had slightly better capacity, that is, 21%. And given the praise the movie is getting, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that fans would be looking for tickets to the afternoon and evening shows. But still, they will be operating at 50% capacity and we must bear in mind that theaters in Maharashtra and the south, except Andhra Pradesh, are closed due to the pandemic situation. Taking into account all the circumstances and even the Bollywood boycott scenario, we can say that the day 1 net proceeds for Bell Bottom could be around Rs 3 to 3.5 crore across India. And if we consider the pandemic scene in the country, it is still equivalent to 10 to 12 million rupees. However, if the country had not been affected by the delta variant of the pandemic and everything had been normal, it would have been close to 20-22 crore rupees. Mind you, this is in case Akki had opted for a normal day release like today. If it had been a holiday release, it would surely have fetched 25-30 crore rupees. Meanwhile, Akshay had been open to risking Bell Bottom’s box office business in a recent interview. The actor who has a lot of movies in his kitty right now said that if Bell Bottom even earns Rs 30 crore, it would be equivalent to Rs 100 crore in this scenario. Explaining the launch in the country, Akshay had said: “Yes, the business is going to be different because Maharashtra represents 30 percent of the total collection of all of India. I am left with only 70 percent (the rest of the country ) and from that, only 50 percent occupancy is expected. That means I only have 35 percent left (of the entire collection that would have been possible if it had been an all-India release). Of that 35 percent we can get 5 to 8 percent, because the full house toh nahin rahega. So I keep only about 27 percent. That’s the likely deal. ” Also read – SHOCKING!
