Sayli Kamble, who is the second runner-up for the singing-based reality show ‘Indian Idol 12’, has lent her vocal prowess for a Marathi film titled ‘Kolhapur Diaries’.
This is the first time Sayli has lent her voice for a movie song. Business analyst Taran Adarsh posted a photo of Kamble on Twitter.

‘Kolhapur Diaries’ is directed by Joe Rajan. It is produced by Select Media Holding LLP, which is an official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster, ‘Angamaly Diaries’.
Previously, Kolkata’s Arunita Kanjilal, who qualified to become the first runner-up on ‘Indian Idol 12, fuels the dream of opening a music school. After the results were declared on Independence Day, Arunita sat down and shared details of moments that she would cherish forever, such as performing opposite AR Rahman or receiving an offer from Karan Johar for her next project.
The 18-year-old singer says that every moment for her in the run-up to the reality show’s ‘Biggest Grand Finale’ was most memorable.
Arunita recalls: “My experience at the fair has been incredible. All these moments are really dear and special to me. If I had to highlight a few, it would definitely be my first time performing opposite AR Rahman Sir, being welcomed into the Dharma family (Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions), obtaining a recording contract from Bappi Da. Indian Idol 12 singer Arunita started learning at the age of 8 and her ultimate goal has always been to be a reproduction singer. She is also willing to open a music school.
