BTS’s Jimin opens up about how his inability to let things go affected him; confesses: ‘My resentment kept growing. My pain too

When Jimin was asked how he felt about his past as he watched the septet’s worldwide success, he told Weverse magazine: “I only realized it recently, but it used to be really shaky. I acted like I was down to earth when I was with other people, like my family and friends. It meant he had to pretend a lot. I worried about others saying things like, I’m fine, but how are you? He continued: “I’m still young, and because I make a lot of money at a young age, I end up wondering what money and success ultimately mean. As I am young, I hear many people speak and some people may feel jealous or envious. But there are a lot of people that I have to pay and a lot of relationships that I have to hold on to. I thought I could take care of all these problems, but looking back, that was not the case. Jimin, however, said that he has learned to process his emotions and let go of what he feels. “I was just being stubborn, you know. Now I think I didn’t have to go that far, and as times went by, I started to think: Oh, I’m glad I can think about this now so that I can let go of the things that I should let go. ,” he said.

He added: “When I couldn’t let things slide, my resentment kept growing. My pain too. Rather than admit that I had those feelings at the time, I would say that there were emotions in different situations that I came to unconsciously accept, and I began to feel like I could see how difficult I was going through after a while. . “

Jimin further said that when he shared his troubles with his parents, he felt his outlook on life change. “So I finally shared what I was feeling with them, and my mom and dad talked to me like they were my life coaches. After coming out of all that period, even when I do similar things, I can tell that my mind has changed a lot. If before I was more focused on my surroundings, now I can also focus on myself, ”he said. He then jokingly said that he does not enjoy the process of becoming an adult because it is too difficult.
