Commenting on the beauty of Navarasa, Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan said: “Emotions can be momentary, but some of those moments stay with us for life. Emotions are a part of every day of our lives and yet some of them can change the course of our lives. This is what makes Navarasa interesting. Although more than one emotion is at play most of the time, it is often one that takes control of our mind and soul and propels us to action. Navarasa is a collection of nine stories born from nine of those emotions. Some of these pivot in a moment. Some take shape from deep-seated feelings. Navarasa shows them all. We are extremely happy and proud of our industry colleagues, directors, actors and technicians, who have created interesting and exciting stories from these nine emotions or the classic rasas. We are confident that viewers around the world will enjoy and celebrate this confluence of rasas. . “
